The walk to peace really is a walk within and one that includes for connectivity of all life. Often, after - what feels like - a long, arduous journey of many kinds, one finds a natural propensity towards peace. A knowing that being restful and awake seem to be where one is meant to be. Beating in congruence with this sense of being, is the undercurrent of a pure heart - endlessly compassionate, lovingly free, effervescent.
But who are the peacemakers among us?
Though there are those among us who exude peace, sometimes at an overt level, sometimes in a subtle and refined way the path to peace is for everyone. I dare say, we are all peace. And at any given moment we're all walking home in the best way we know how.
And?
Just remember, it doesn't mean we won't experience disharmony. It doesn't mean the circumstances of life will fall into a magical place. It means that despite whatever is before us, we can return to our peaceful resting state, and through our resiliency are capable of transforming any inner experience.
So, even if things may seem chaotic on the outside (or even if they still seem chaotic on the inside), know that when you come home, you touch the whole of peace in that moment. It won't matter if the outer world is chaotic because you will be uniquely capable to see through any storm.
And along the way, you will be witness to another as they find their own way home.
